1)Tostadas

Si vous ne les connaissez pas déjà, le Tostadas est une sorte de cousin de la tortilla, il est tout aussi bon et vous aurez le loisir de changer la garniture au grès de vos envie ou de ce qui est disponible. Commencez par chauffer environ une tasse d’huile de canola dans une grande poêle, incorporez-y les tortillas, une à une, que vous laisserez cuire jusqu’à ce qu’elles deviennent croustillantes. Sortez les de l’huile et recouvrez les de laitue, fromage, tomate et enfin des haricots. Pour la sauce, vous avez le choix entre le guacamole, le chili vert et le Guesco Fresco. S’il vous reste de la purée, vous pouvez également l’utiliser comme garniture, en y ajoutant des poivrons, de la laitue, du fromage et de la sauce par-dessus.

2)Carnitas

Les Carnitas sont très faciles à préparer et surprennent par leur goût particulièrement délicieux. Pour préparer votre Carnitas, faites mijoter, selon le nombre de personnes, la palette de porc, dans une mijoteuse. Ajoutez-y les tranches d’orange, l’oignon haché, l’ail, le sel, le poivre et le cumin. Laissez la viande cuire pendant environ 8 heures à feu doux. Une fois votre viande cuite, laissez la refroidir, ensuite déchiquetez votre viande. Disposez la viande sur votre tortilla, ajoutez-y les haricots et le riz espagnol.

3)Chile Rellenos

Le chile Rellenos ou piments farcis, est un délicieux plat mexicain, qui peut être réalisé de différentes manières. La version la plus répandue consiste à farcir les piments grillés de fromage, avant de les enrouler dans la farine. Trempez les piments enfarinés dans un mélange fait de blanc et jaune d’œufs battus séparément. Faire frire ces piments farcis dans de l’huile. Les chili rellenos sont généralement accompagnés de riz aromatisé ou de haricots frits.

4)Nachos

Bien que ce dernier repas mexicain ne soit pas des plus sains, le Nachos reste tout de même très bon à déguster. Commencez par disposer vos nachos sur un grand plat, ajoutez-y les ingrédients proposés pour la préparation des nachos. Les ingrédients vont des haricots, du bœuf, du poulet, des jalapenos, en passant par les olives, la tomate, la laitue ou encore du fromage. Peu importe la combinaison que vous choisirez, vous ferez des heureux à la maison.
