1)Le savon antibactérien dérègle peut-être vos hormones.

Les savons antibactériens tout comme les produits ménagers et certains dentifrices contiennent un composant chimique qu’on appelle triclosan. Ce composant a montré lors de tests menés sur des animaux qu’il provoquait des changements au niveau hormonal.  Certains organismes de législation comme l’agence américaine des produits alimentaires et de médicaments (FDA) indique que ces produits contenant du triclosan sont sans risques mais encore faut-il les croire ! Toujours selon la FDA, le savon antibactérien ne serait pas plus efficace que le savon normal en termes de prévention contre les maladies.

2) La règle des 5 secondes n’existe pas !

Cette fameuse règle des 5 secondes serait en fait la règle du zéro seconde. D’après une étude relative à la transmission de bactéries publiée par des chercheurs de l’université Clemson, 99 % des bactéries sont instantanément transmises une fois qu’un aliment tombe par terre. Les chercheurs affirment que certains sols comme les zones mouillées, les tapis… seraient plus dangereux que d’autres, les sols secs, durs… La raison est que ces derniers permettent moins aux bactéries de se s’installer. La nature des aliments compterait aussi, les aliments comportant plus de sel ou de sucre semblent relever les germes plus lentement.

3) Votre évier est bien sale.

Voici quelques estimations relatives à la saleté de nos foyers, les sols des toilettes abriteraient jusqu’à un demi-million de bactéries par centimètre carré, c’est étonnant ! Ce qui va encore plus vous choquer c’est que plus de cent milles bactéries par centimètre carré peuvent vivre dans les canalisations de votre évier. Votre évier serait un tout petit peu moins sale que la cuvette de vos toilettes. Ce nombre énorme de bactéries est lié à vos assiettes et casseroles laissées à tremper, ce sont les endroits favorables au développement de bactéries telles que E. coli.

4) Ce que vous déposez dans vos cuvettes déborde une fois que vous tirez la chasse.

La légende urbaine qui parle de ça n’est finalement pas fausse. Deux présentateurs d’une émission à propos des mythes ont réussi à le prouver : tirer la chasse avec un couvercle non refermé provoque l’envol de matière fécale dans l’air. Le Docteur Charles Gerba, professeur de microbiologie à l’université d’Arizona, a confirmé en indiquant que le jaillissement de ces particules serait comparable aux feux d’artifice. Si le couvercle est ouvert, ces dernières peuvent être projetées jusqu’à deux mètres ! Dorénavant, avant que vous ne tiriez la chasse, pensez à bien fermer le couvercle ! Ne laissez pas ces informations insolites vous découragez, vous devriez garder en tête que l’univers grouille de ces petits êtres diaboliques et pourtant vous êtes toujours là !
